Resumo

The scientific initiation project entitled "Framework for Energy Consumption Analysis and Optimization in Integrated Circuit (IC) Projects" aimed to investigate and evaluate technical tools for reducing energy consumption in smart devices within the Internet of Things (IoT) domain. These devices often face energy constraints, making it essential to develop efficient solutions. Through the analysis of academic articles and studies, several energy optimization techniques were identified; however, many proved to be inadequate due to the processing limitations inherent to these devices. Based on these observations, the study compiled methods and tools focused on energy efficiency, highlighting the Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS) method as a promising approach for investigation and implementation within the scope of the project.
