Abstract

The increasing demand for electricity has led to the expansion of the power system, resulting in greater public exposure to low-frequency electric and magnetic fields. The objective of this study is to assess the intensity of electromagnetic fields generated by 69 kV transmission lines operating at 60 Hz, which supply the Belo Horizonte substation in Mossoró. In this study, on-site measurements were conducted following the guidelines of the NBR 25415 standard, along with spatial interpolation methods to generate estimation maps.
