Abstract

In this article, were analyzed the results from an unprecedented lesson, where GeoGebra software was used as a technological resource and whose use was intended to assist in the construction of mathematical concepts. This class took place in a state school in the city of Natal/RN in a 2nd grade high school class composed of 24 students. The unpublished lesson was developed from an investigative didactic sequence. The subjects covered in this class were trigonometric relations: sine, cosine and tangent. This theme presents itself as a very useful mathematical content in solving everyday problems and in the exercise of some professional activities. The choice for GeoGebra software was due to the fact that it allows precise and adequate constructions to the content of trigonometry. The observed data indicate

an improvement in the participation of students in the activities developed, thus justifying the use of digital technologies in mathematics teaching.
