Abstract

This is a fragment of the opening conference of the First International Meeting of Cultural Rights of UFERSA, held in Mossoró, 2017. The purpose of this presentation was to address a general notion of cultural asset in comparison with the different normative plans concretized both in Portugal and in Brazil, identifying their protection zones and subsequent emphasis on underwater cultural heritage. After reviewing and updating, the conference was formatted as an article to be shared with Brazilian readers.
